System requirements for installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package 2015
Each version of the Microsoft Visual C ++ Redistributable Package will have its own system requirements, but since the 2015 version is the most current at the moment and it naturally has the highest system requirements, that's why we will consider them, but I will also touch on previous versions.
2015 version supports the following operating systems:
Windows 10;
Windows 7 Service Pack 1;
Windows 8;
Windows 8.1;
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2;
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1;
Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2;
Windows Server 2012;
Windows Vista Service Pack 2;
Windows XP Service Pack 3.
If you have Windows 7, then, starting with Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package 2012, you need to have Service Pack 1 installed, i.e. The 2012, 2013, and 2015 redistributables can only be installed on Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
Equipment requirements:
Processor with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz or more (in versions that are lower than 2015, 900 MHz is sufficient);
The amount of RAM is 1 GB (in versions that are below 2015, only 512 megabytes);
50 MB available hard disk space (in all versions);
